Mueller Planning To Bring Charges Against Entire Trump Family: REPORT

The plea agreement made last week by Donald Trump’s former attorney, Michael Cohen, had plenty of bad news for the president, but it also contained some damaging facts about members of his family who also happen to be intricately involved in the Trump Organization.

Specifically, Cohen’s plea deal mentions or points to Don Jr. and Ivanka Trump along with Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, and that’s a big problem, former federal prosecutor Peter Zeidenberg writes in USA Today:

“Cohen’s disclosure exposes not just Trump as having lied about his business interests in Russia, it potentially also exposes his family as well. Donald Trump Jr. and Jared Kushner have both testified before Congress. We know Trump Jr. was asked about his role in negotiations about building Trump Tower Moscow, and while a transcript of Kushner’s testimony has not been made public, it is hard to imagine that he was not also asked about the Trump Organization’s business ties to Russia.”

Keep in mind that Cohen was pleaded guilty to lying to Congress. Don Jr. and Jared have both testified before House and Senate committees, and just last week the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Richard Burr (R-NC) said he was referring suspected cases of perjury to Special Counsel Robert Mueller, which could be very dangerous if Don Jr. and Jared weren’t completely honest in their testimony.

Ivanka, on the other hand, will probably be indicted for fraud related to giving false sale figures about Trump building projects.

This week also promises to bring us other new developments from the special counsel’s office, Zeidenberg notes:

“Mueller has informed the court that he will be filing a statement supporting his assertion that (Paul) Manafort has repeatedly lied to the government while he was ostensibly cooperating with the Mueller team. Expect this filing to be detailed and fully supported by emails, phone and bank records, as well as other witness statements.”

That upcoming court filing could also send President Trump and his attorneys into a full-blown panic, as they’ll know if what they said in their written responses to questions from Mueller has opened Trump up to multiple counts of perjury and obstruction of justice.

From what we’ve seen so far, it’s clear that the entire Trump family is little more than a criminal enterprise, and everyone in it deserves to spend the rest of their lives in prison.
