New York Times: Trump No Longer Has Access To Twitter; Aides Blocked His Account

Perhaps you were wondering why Donald Trump hasn’t been doing any of his usual Twitter shenanigans in recent weeks. Did the GOP nominee finally come to the realization that he was doing himself more harm than good when it comes to going on social media? Not exactly.

The New York Times is reporting that Trump’s press aides have revoked the candidate’s access to his Twitter account, @realdonaldtrump.

One example cited by the Times is that Trump and top press aide Hope Hicks co-authored a posting about how President Obama shouldn’t be campaigning for Clinton that Hicks approved and sent. Other than such collaborations, Trump no longer has the right to go on Twitter and spin any of his usual bullshit, hate speech, or conspiracy theories. Apparently staffers made the decision because they didn’t want any distractions in the final days of the campaign.

However, one cannot help but wonder why those in control at the Trump campaign didn’t ban their candidate from Twitter months ago. Now they decided to tell him he cannot go online and send out ideas which haven’t been approved by someone else? What was their first clue that letting Trump on social media at all hours of the day and night was a bad idea?

Clearly, the Trump campaign is managed by hacks, clowns, and yes men who are just drawing a check. They are almost as incompetent as the man who pays them.
