Now President Stable Genius Is Refusing To Read The Daily Intelligence Briefing

Of all the things a president is briefed on each day, none is more important than what’s known as the Presidential Daily Briefing or PDB.

The PDB lays out the latest intelligence about various hot spots across the globe and how they might impact the United States. It’s information that is essential to anyone serving as Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.

So, naturally, Donald Trump refuses to read his PDB.

The Washington Post reports:

“For much of the past year, President Trump has declined to participate in a practice followed by the past seven of his predecessors: He rarely if ever reads the President’s Daily Brief, a document that lays out the most pressing information collected by U.S. intelligence agencies from hot spots around the world.

“Trump has opted to rely on an oral briefing of select intelligence issues in the Oval Office rather than getting the full written document delivered to review separately each day, according to three people familiar with his briefings.”

Translation: Trump is STUPID!

Not long after he took office, Trump even bragged that he hated words on paper, telling Axios:

“I like bullets or I like as little as possible. I don’t need, you know, 200-page reports on something that can be handled on a page.”

But Trump’s refusal to read the documents which are essential to his job is a big problem, according to former CIA Director Leon Panetta:

“If for some reason his instincts on what should be done are not backed up by the intelligence because he hasn’t taken the time to read that intel, it increases the risk that he will make a mistake.

“You can have the smartest people around you—in the end it still comes down to his decision.”

Trump has also complained that the people who give him the daily intel briefing are “talking down to him.” That’s because they know what a moron he is and have to put the information on a level that can be understood by a man-child with the mentality of a 5-year-old.
