Paranoid Trump Made Doctors At Walter Reed Sign Non-Disclosure Agreements

Donald Trump is very sick, and coronavirus isn’t the only reason.

For any doubters, consider that when the president mysteriously showed up at Walter Reed National Medical Center last November, he insisted that some of the doctors who treated him sign non-disclosure agreements, according to NBC News:

“During a surprise trip to Walter Reed on Nov. 16, 2019, Trump mandated signed NDAs from both physicians and nonmedical staff, most of whom are active-duty military service members, these people said. At least two doctors at Walter Reed who refused to sign the NDAs were subsequently not permitted to have any involvement in the president’s care, two of the people said.”

Why would Trump demand doctors sign non-disclosure agreements? What exactly is he afraid the public might find out if that information happened to leak out?

For some time now, there have been rumors that the president has suffered a series of TIAs, which are also known and mini-strokes. If that’s the case, it would certainly provide ample reason for Trump to insist on secrecy, because it could lead to calls for him to be removed from office due to his health. Even a mini-stroke, it should be noted, can cause significant mental and physical damage, including impaired thinking and the inability to walk or speak normally.

However, those documents Trump got from the doctors are likely not legally binding and wouldn’t hold up in court, Law & Crime notes:

“’Walter Reed doctors – those NDAs are not enforceable. As federal employees, you can be constrained by clearance NDAs but not personal ones,’ national security attorney Bradley P. Moss said.”

Moss later elaborated on what he had posted on Twitter:

“Given the breadth of things already encompassed by HIPAA and the medical ethics guidelines that apply to doctors and many medical personnel, any personal NDA the president tried to have these individuals sign is likely more about non-medical discussions to which they were privy by virtue of their presence in the room at the same time as the president’s political advisors. Such an NDA regarding unclassified information is unenforceable.”

More importantly, if Trump does indeed have a serious health problem, he’s a threat to the national security of the United States and a danger to the free world. It’s yet another reason he needs to be removed from office via the ballot box.

  1. How unstable must this outfit of a President have to get before you are worried. GOP what are you all doing? Come out of your counting house and start doing what is right for the people by the people. This king of clowns is off the rails. When is enough going to be enough? Where is Mcconnell hiding is he with Graham or one of the other old jerks wondering where to hide perhaps.
