Tennessee Trumpkin Claims Trumpcare Has Lowered Health Insurance Costs Already

During his 2016 run for the White House, Donald Trump once said he loved ignorant voters, commenting:

“We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated.”

And the poorly educated love the so-called president, too, perhaps because they’re not bright enough to know he’s a pathological liar who wants to give them the proverbial shaft so he can hand out massive tax cuts to his rich golfing buddies in the business world.

Now we have a woman in Tennessee who is praising Trumpcare–which hasn’t even been voted on or put in effect–for lowering the cost of health insurance in her family.

Charla McComic told the Washington Post that her son recently lost his job and the premium on his health insurance dropped from $567 a month to $88. McComic hailed this as “a blessing from God.”

McComic is under the mistaken impression that tax credits which are proposed under Trumpcare are the reason her son is able to keep his insurance at a drastically reduced rate. In reality, workers who lose their jobs and no longer have employer-based healthcare coverage can enroll in Obamacare, or go on Medicaid if their income is low enough.

The depressingly dense McComic also said she isn’t the least bit worried that her son or granddaughter might lose Medicaid coverage if the GOP-sponsored healthcare bill is eventually passed, commenting:

“So far, everything’s been positive, from what I can tell. I just hope that more and more people and children get covered under this new health-care plan.”

And if you were wondering just how utterly devoted McComic is to a man who would just as soon take food out of the mouths of children, the poor, and senior citizens, she recalls that she and some of her relatives campaigned for Trump by forming a motorcade and driving through her hometown shouting the sexual predator who resides in the White House’s name, adding:

“We said: ‘Who else would we do this for, besides Trump?’ We agreed on the Lord. We would stand here for the Lord, but that’s about it.”
