Trouble In Trumpworld? Ann Coulter Turns On The Donald: ‘This Is The Great Negotiator?’

As if the illegitimate American head of state doesn’t have enough problems with the ongoing investigations into the 2016 election and his firing of the FBI Director, now we have one of his biggest supporters saying she’s just about ready to jump ship if Donald Trump doesn’t start keeping some of his promises.

Speaking to the Daily Caller on Sunday, Ann Coulter said she was especially upset that Trump has yet to begin construction of his long-promised wall on the border with Mexico:

“I’m not very happy with what has happened so far. I guess we have to try to push him to keep his promises. This isn’t North Korea, and if he doesn’t keep his promises I’m out. This is why we voted for him.”

Coulter also added that both Trump and the GOP have failed to accomplish anything so far, but seemed to place a great deal of the blame on the Orange Menace:

“Where is the bull in the china shop we wanted? That budget the Republicans pushed through was like a practical joke… Did we win anything? And this is the great negotiator?

“Trump was our last shot. I kind of thought it was [Mitt] Romney, and then lo and behold like a miracle Trump comes along. I still believe in Trumpism. I have no regrets for ferociously supporting him, what choice did we have?”

But the right-wing pundit also had plenty of scorn for Congressional Republicans:

“I do of course blame Congress most of all. They are swine. They only care about their own careers. Who knows how much of it is corruption and how much of it is pure stupidity. They are the opposition party to Donald Trump.”

Perhaps Coulter can take some very cold comfort in the two future outcomes which now appear most likely to happen:

  • Democrats take control of both houses of Congress in the 2018 midterm elections.
  • Trump is impeached, tried as a traitor, and sent to prison for the remainder of his pathetic life.
