WATCH A Trump Shill Get Her As* Handed To Her By An ABC News Host

The Sunday shows were filled with Trump surrogates attempting (and failing) to spin the fake president’s accusation that former President Obama had his phones tapped at Trump Tower.

But perhaps the one that went most awry for the Trump team took place on ABC’s This Week, when Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tried to bail out the so-called head of state even though host Martha Raddatz reminded her that Trump had yet to produce a single fact to support his ridiculous charge of wiretapping. To that, Sanders replied:

“The New York Times, the BBC have also talked about and reported on the potential of this having had happened,” Sanders said. “All we’re saying is let’s take a closer look. Let’s look into this. If this happened, if this is accurate, this is the biggest overreach.”

Raddatz fired back at Sanders:

“If, if, if, if, if! Why is the president saying it did happen?”

Once again, Sanders resorted to supposition:

“I think he is going off information he’s seen that has led him to believe that this is a very real potential. The American people have a right to know if this took place.”

The American people also have a right to know if their current president is lowlife traitor and puppet of Vladimir Putin.

The ABC host asked the logical follow-up question of Sanders:

“The president believes it is true?”

To that, Sanders responded:

“His tweet speaks for itself. He’s talking about, could this have happened?”

Raddatz:

“He’s saying — once again, he said it did happen.”

Then Sanders tried to deflect and pivot again:

“All we’re asking is we get the same level of look into the Obama administration and the potential that they had for a complete abuse of power that they’ve been claiming that we’ve done over the last six months. And time and time again, there’s no evidence or wrongdoing. The FBI says this is B.S. Yes, you guys continue to hammer and hammer of some false idea and false narrative that there’s something there when, frankly, there just isn’t.”

That’s when Martha Raddatz shut down Sanders–and, by extension Trump–with this reminder of one fundamental fact:

“I just want to say, Donald Trump started this on Saturday morning.”

Give us proof, Donald. You don’t have any, so we won’t hold our breath waiting for any.
