Fox News host Bill O’Reilly is a blowhard, a bully, and one of the most uninformed men to ever appear on television. But it turns out he also happens to be a white supremacist who thinks Democrats want “power taken away from the white establishment.”

Tuesday evening on his show, O’Reilly was criticizing those who say the president should be elected by popular vote instead of the Electoral College. The reason progressives are calling for such a change, O’Reilly asserted, is to disenfranchise white working class men:

“Neutralizing the largely white rural areas in the Midwest and South will assure liberal politicians get power and keep it.

“The left sees white privilege in America as an oppressive force that must be done away with. Therefore white working class voters must be marginalized.”

Then O’Reilly tried to pretend he was providing a valuable service by saying such incredibly racist things:

“Very few commentators will tell you that the heart of liberalism in America today is based on race. It permeates almost every issue: that white men have set up a system of oppression. That system must be destroyed.”

Let’s see: Slavery was created and perpetuated by white men, as was Jim Crow, and the vast majority of political leaders in this country are white men. So if indeed liberals are pointing out that white men–who are not the majority by number–have to cede some of their control to women, blacks, Hispanics, etc., how is that a bad thing?

The utterly disgusting O’Reilly finished his rant by saying:

“The left wants power taken away from the white establishment. They want a profound change in the way America is run.”

If it means making sure hateful demagogues like Donald Trump and Mike Pence are never elected to high office again, then that change cannot come fast enough. And if it rids the airwaves of people like Bill O’Reilly, it’s safe to say the world will be a better place once they’re in the same category as the dinosaurs.
