WATCH Ted Cruz Refuse To Answer When Asked If Trump Is Still A ‘Pathological Liar’

Texas Senator Ted Cruz got caught short when he appeared on This Week today and was asked if what he had said during the primaries about President-elect Donald Trump still held true.

Specifically, in May of this year Cruz had this to say of Don the Con:

“He doesn’t know the difference between truth and lies. He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth. The man is utterly amoral. Morality does not exist for him.”

Host Martha Raddatz posed this question to Teddy Boy:

“Do you regret any of those words?”

Rather than respond, Cruz said:

“It was a hard fought campaign. It was hard fought on all sides. And — and — and it was vigorous till the end. But at the end of the day, the people have spoken. He won the election, he won the nomination, and he won the general election in a convincing manner. And my focus is on the country.

“We need an administration that fights for the working men and women of this country.”

But Raddatz was not about to let Cruz get off that easily, again asking:

“I just go back to those words, ‘He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth.’ Do you still think Donald Trump is a liar?”

“I’m not going to re-litigate the past. I’m going to focus on the future. I’m going to focus on what’s in front of us and on fixing the problems we have.”

Hey, that’s great, Ted, but one of the problems we have that desperately cries out to be fixed is that fact that the President-elect is a pathological liar and too stupid to run a business, let alone the most important nation in the entire world!

I’m willing to bet that had Hillary Clinton won the election, Senator Cruz would be accusing her of being dishonest and calling for Congressional hearings, even impeachment. Cruz is a hack who would sell the souls of his children for advancement. He’s one of the main reasons the GOP has no future.
