Weeping Trump Supporter Tells Rush Limbaugh: ‘I Would Die For My President’

Those who most fervently support Donald Trump no matter what he says or does can’t really be considered mere followers or supporters, if only because they forgive Trump anything and everything, even when the facts clearly prove that he’s lying.

That being said, consider some of the signs that you’re in a cult, courtesy of the Atlantic:

  • Opposing critical thinking
  • Seeking inappropriate loyalty to their leaders
  • Isolating members and penalizing them for leaving

Sound familiar when applied to the Trump train? That’s because Trump is a cult leader and the people who refuse to accept that he lost to Joe Biden are his disciples and acolytes.

Need more proof? It was provided by a weeping Trump devotee on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show Friday.

A male caller began by telling Limbaugh that Trump voters who live in Georgia should be “very afraid.” He then continued, his voice filled with tearful emotion:

“Trump and you are all we have left, Rush. We’ve spent our lives voting for these people because they’re not them, and we just can’t do it anymore.

“They just basically told every Georgian that they don’t care.

“No one stands for us, Rush — only you and Donald Trump!”

But it was what the man said next that should send a chill up every rational person’s spine, because it shows just how unhinged and dangerous the Trump cultists are:

“God forbid — what do we have left? I love my president. I am not a revolutionary, Rush, but I would die for my president.”

He would die for Donald Trump. He’s got nothing left. He’s not a revolutionary, but he just pledged his life for a man who would laugh at his devotion behind his back, the same way he laughs at evangelicals who support him, remarking:

“(A) former campaign adviser recalled showing his boss a YouTube video of the Israeli televangelist Benny Hinn performing ‘faith healings,’ while Trump laughed at the spectacle and muttered, ‘Man, that’s some racket.'”

Referring to an evangelical pastor who was trying to get the money so he could buy a Gulfstream G650 private jet, Trump told his former attorney, Michael Cohen:

“They’re all hustlers.”

Donald Trump is a hustler, too, and he’s managed to hustle millions of Americans into believing he’s the only thing good in their otherwise pathetic lives.

There’s an old axiom that goes like this: In a religion, the “savior” dies for you. In a cult, you’re expected to die for the “savior.”

And they’re willing. That’s what makes them so damn dangerous and such a threat to the rest of us.

  1. Well it is highly likely this trump follower might just do that> Die for her president. Because of his irresponsible leadership. Taking all those unsafe rallies. Hope that the republicans can see some real issues with not taking safe precautionary measures so much earlier. Guess now it will be they can expect to front up to the hospitals and fill all the wards while the diligent and careful considerate people that have tried doing it right by wearing masks and safe distancing will have to wait while the likes of this stupid women with her death wish clog up the system. So many GOP members deserve to be better treated by their elected president not the one that incites such horror measures for his ego based ridiculous saga in the power house. Making fun of anyone that takes this pandemic serious. Because it really is a killer.
