By his own admission on the Access Hollywood video, President Trump enjoys making women uncomfortable by kissing them against their will and even sexually assaulting them if he’s in the mood. And now we have another confirmation of that from NBC reporter Katy Tur.
Tur, who was assigned to cover Trump during the 2016 campaign, has just released a book, Unbelievable: My Front-Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History, and in it she recounts the many times Trump personally called her out for criticism on the campaign trail, calling her “incompetent,” “dishonest,” and “a third-rate reporter.”
But Tur also recounts a time when she was preparing for an appearance on the MSNBC show Morning Joe and Trump, out of nowhere, grabbed her from behind and kissed her cheek. As Tur writes:
“Before I know what’s happening, his hands are on my shoulders and his lips are on my cheek. My eyes widen. My body freezes. My heart stops.
“Fuck. I hope the cameras didn’t see that. My bosses are never going to take me seriously.”
Trump, as per his usual, denied the allegation Tur makes in her book, tweeting out:
Fascinating to watch people writing books and major articles about me and yet they know nothing about me & have zero access. #FAKE NEWS!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 12, 2017
But the facts contradict Trump’s tweet. Katy Tur did indeed have access to him during the 2016 race for the White House, and he knows it. He even did several extensive interviews with her. His lies only serve to reinforce what we already knew: Donald Trump is the all-time King of Fake News.
