Former Federal Prosecutor: New Ukraine Emails Prove Trump Is Guilty Of High Crimes

Despite his best efforts to keep all of the evidence in the Ukraine scandal hidden from congressional investigators and the public, Donald Trump found out this week that the truth manages to find its way into the open eventually.

Unredacted emails obtained and published by Just Security on Thursday clearly state that the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) was directly ordered by the president to withhold military aid that had been allocated by Congress to Ukraine:

“’Clear direction from POTUS to continue to hold.’

“This is what Michael Duffey, associate director of national security programs at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), told Elaine McCusker, the acting Pentagon comptroller, in an Aug. 30 email, which has only been made available in redacted form until now. It is one of many documents the Trump administration is trying to keep from the public, despite congressional oversight efforts and court orders in Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) litigation.”

Clear direction from POTUS. OMB was holding up the money to Ukraine. At Trump’s direction! That’s the smoking gun. And it’s why Trump is still trying to keep some emails secret. It’s speculated that those could be proof positive that the president was the driving force behind the Ukraine debacle and was in the loop every step of the way.

Those emails, however, are going to come out. And former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner said Saturday that he’s willing to bet those are the emails that will make the “walls come tumbling down” for the White House:

“This is the statement they put out as their reason to decline to turn over the emails. They said among other things, ‘Disclosure of this material would inhibit the frank and candid exchange of views necessary for effective –’ Why don’t they just say, ‘Oh, heck, it’s got a whole rack of crime in there so we’re not turning them over.’ You know, they’re digging their own grave. And I don’t care what anybody says, the walls are going to come tumbling down with the Parnases and these emails that ultimately are going to see the light of day and they’re going to continue to show this is a corrupt administration.”

The very fact that the administration continues to stonewall every investigation — even take the matter of Trump’s tax returns to the Supreme Court — is because Trump knows he’s guilty as hell.

A reckoning is coming. And when it arrives, all the obstruction and lies in the world won’t be able to save the Criminal-in-Chief.
