Former Staffer For Trump Claims Donald Has Been Using Speed For Decades

We’ve all watched the bizarre behavior and statements from Donald Trump and wondered: Is this guy on drugs? Most people don’t act so deranged unless they’re heavily medicated.

As it turns out, there’s ample evidence that Trump has indeed been on drugs during his life, and for all we know he still is.


Noted Newsweek journalist Kurt Eichenwald followed the facts for an article he was writing that his publication later refused to run, but Eichenwald was still able to get the evidence he found out into light thanks to Twitter, where he posted exactly what he’d been able to establish by being a good reporter. And it all started with a former staffer on “The Apprentice” who said Trump was a “speed freak.”

Let’s pause here and take a closer look a what tenuate dospan — which is also known as diethylpropion — is used for:

“Diethylpropion is an appetite suppressant similar to an amphetamine. Diethylpropion stimulates your central nervous system (nerves and brain), which increases your heart rate and blood pressure and decreases your appetite. Diethylpropion is used as together with diet and exercise to treat of obesity.”


As you might expect, a drug such as this has serious side effects:

“Fast/irregular/pounding heartbeat, mental/mood changes (e.g., agitation, uncontrolled anger, hallucinations, nervousness), uncontrolled muscle movements, change in sexual ability/interest.”

Hmm…sound like anyone we might all know? Donald Trump is a man who has constant mood changes, is nervous, irritable, and often seems to be lost in his own little world. In other words, he exhibits all of the key warning signs for those who use this legal form of speed.

Eichenwald had some other facts he also shared in that December 2018 Twitter thread:


It should be noted that we have absolutely no proof that Trump still uses stimulants or amphetamines, but his behavior certainly suggests he’s taking something that makes him act the way he does. And if his bizarre actions can’t be said to be the result of drug use, that leaves us only one other option: That the current president has a form of brain damage or dementia that makes him act so strangely.

Either way you look at it, ask yourself this question: Should Donald Trump have control of the U.S. nuclear arsenal, or is this man a catastrophic accident waiting to happen?
