Judge Rules Sexual Assault Deposition Against Alan Dershowitz Unsealed And Made Public

There’s an excellent chance that attorney and law professor Alan Dershowitz won’t be sleeping very well thanks to a momentous ruling from a federal judge in New York.

Julie Brown, a reporter for The Miami Herald, revealed that a deposition given by a woman who has accused for sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and Dershowitz of sexual assault, will be unsealed and made available to the public:

Judge Loretta Preska, Senior United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York noted in her ruling that she has begun the formal process of “unsealing documents in the defamation case of Ghislaine Maxwell,” and that also will include “the deposition of Virginia Guiffre that includes allegations against Alan Dershowitz.”

Dershowitz defended Epstein in 2006. Epstein was accused of having sex with multiple underage girls he recruited and groomed for years with the assistance of Maxwell.

While he denies he ever did anything illegal, Dershowitz has admitted that he did receive a massage from a girl, but kept his underwear on at all times:

Though it’s unclear what all might be in the soon-to-be unsealed deposition, there remains the chance that it could implicate others in the larger sex scandal, including President Donald Trump and Prince Andrew, both of whom were known to be associates of the late convicted sex offender.
