After last week’s House Select Committee on Benghazi session in which Hillary Clinton sat for nearly twelve hours and answered every question fired at her (having to respond to the same question numerous times from different questioners), it was the general consensus in the media that Clinton had been victorious and quelled any remaining doubts about her actions as Secretary of State.
But, as usual, Fox News either didn’t get the memo or simply refused to read it.
So on Friday evening, Megyn Kelly decided she would throw a hissy fit on-air and rail against the media, the GOP members of the committee, and, naturally, the Democratic frontrunner. Here’s a brief synopsis of what Kelly spewed out, courtesy of Crooks and Liars:
“Megyn Kelly called out media outlets for crowning Hillary Clinton the undisputed victor following the Republican-led Benghazi hearing on Thursday while overlooking a’“bombshell’ email to the Egyptian prime minister.
“Kelly played clips of Clinton and other administration officials repeating a talking point that the Sept. 11, 2012 attack was the result of extremists hijacking a protest of an anti-Islam video that had sparked other protests in the region.”
This led Ms. Kelly to conclude:
”To watch most of the media you would think we never saw that email. To the contrary, the messaging was ‘She won, it’s over, move on.’”
That’s because she DID win, it IS over, and everyone but you and the vampires at Fox News have moved on.
Fox News, just like their minions in the GOP, is scared to death of Hillary Clinton, because they know they cannot possibly beat her in the 2016 election. They’re certainly correct about that assumption. As Clinton showed during her testimony, she can out debate anyone at anytime. Who can the Republicans possibly run against her that stands a chance? Trump? Bush? Rubio? Carson? Please! Each of them will lose in a landslide to Hillary Clinton.
So it’s time Megyn Kelly and the other hack “reporters” at Fox News face the truth: They’re fighting a losing battle, and now they’re looking like spoiled 2-year-olds as they whine about the loss.
