Monday evening, Fox News host Megyn Kelly was back on her show, “The Kelly File,” after an 11-day vacation which some suggested was the price she had to pay for upsetting Donald Trump at the GOP debate earlier this month.
As I’ve said on more than one occasion, I found Trump’s post-debate remarks about Kelly having “blood coming out her whatever” to be way over the line. Trump likes to say he’s a gentleman and that women love him, but no gentleman I’ve ever known would ever say something that crude about a woman, no matter the circumstance.
But can Trump now live and let live when it comes to Megyn Kelly? No, because he has the mentality of a schoolyard bully, and he proved that again Monday night by live tweeting one insult after another during “The Kelly File.” Here’s some of what the Donald posted:
“@megynkelly must have had a terrible vacation, she is really off her game. Was afraid to confront Dr. Cornel West. No clue on immigration!”
“I liked The Kelly File much better without @megynkelly. Perhaps she could take another eleven day unscheduled vacation!”
“@bigpaulfla: @realDonaldTrump She has come back looking like Nancy Grace”
“@mstanish53: @realDonaldTrump @megynkelly The bimbo back in town. I hope not for long.”
Once Trump had finished venting his spleen about Megyn Kelly, he then turned his childish temper tantrum to Jeb Bush:
“Jeb Bush never uses his last name on advertising, signage, materials etc. Is he ashamed of the name BUSH? A pretty sad situation. Go Jeb!”
“In a clumsy move to get out of his “anchor babies” dilemma, where he signed that he would not use the term and now uses it, he blamed ASIANS”
I have a message I want to send directly to Donald Trump, and here it is: You are an enormous douchebag, a bully, a jerk, a horse’s ass, and the kind of trash that needs to be taken to a landfill. Your act is growing old, and I for one will be glad when you wear out your welcome and crawl back beneath the rock you live under.
