Since David Gregory left as host of “Meet the Press” and was replaced by Chuck Todd, I admit that I rarely watch the show. I don’t care for Chuck Todd. He’s a decent reporter, but as a host I find him more than a bit tiresome.
But today on “Meet the Press,” Todd took GOP frontrunner to task for his inane (and false) comments about Muslims in New Jersey celebrating when the World Trade Center was attacked on September 11, 2001. He told Trump:
“There were three of four different reports that month in New Jersey that said it was a myth. That it was a false rumor. FBI. You name it.”
Trump, of course, refused to admit that he’s wrong and a big fat liar with his pants on fire:
“I saw it on television. And so did many other people and many people saw it in person. I have hundreds of phone calls to the Trump organization saying we saw it. It was dancing in the streets.”
Which was when Chuck Todd nailed the Donald with this:
“Just because somebody repeats something doesn’t make it true.”
Exactly! But Trump was not about to relent when he’s right in the middle of fabricating something:
“I don’t mean I had two calls, Chuck. People were saying they lived in Jersey.”
Todd retorted perfectly:
“People were saying! If I said, ‘Well, people have said Mr. Trump’s not worth $10 billion, and people were saying,’ you would say that’s crazy. You wouldn’t make a business deal based on retweets and based on hearsay.
“You’re running for president of the United States. Your words matter. Truthfulness matters. Fact-based stuff matters.”
At that point, Trump tried to back Todd down by saying:
“Take it easy, Chuck, just play cool. This is people in this country that love our country that saw this by the hundreds they’re calling and they’re tweeting.
“I have a very good memory. I saw it somewhere on television many years ago and I never forgot it. And it was on television too.”
Well, if it was on television, it must be true, right? Just like what we see in the Internet: all of it true.
So allow me to state this “fact” for Donald Trump: I just read somewhere that you are the biggest piece of crap to ever walk the face of the earth. It’s gotta be true, because I read it. Maybe I even saw it on TV.
But wait a minute, I shouldn’t have used that example. Why? Because it’s really true. And the more Trump talks, the truer it becomes.
Watch Chuck Todd Call Out Trump!

Let’s not forget what a fear monger Trump is. This is so much garbage that people cheered about the WTC. He is a sicko.
