It’s safe to say that Ivanka Trump is a part of the Russia conspiracy, and yet she hardly ever gets mentioned when it comes to the investigation being conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Why is that?

As the Russia probe turns to Donald Trump and the Trump Organization’s business dealings, it’s fair to take a closer look at the First Daughter, especially since she was a top executive in her father’s company and has long been known as a shrewd negotiator.

Here’s some facts to consider when it comes to Ivanka Trump and the Russia matter:

• She was in attendance at the controversial meeting aboard Air Force One on the way back from the G-20 summit in July, when Trump staffers and the president himself drew up a response to reporters’ questions about a meeting Donald Trump Jr. had with Kremlin-linked lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya. That dubious statement alleged that the meeting was about Russian adoption. In reality, it was to discuss dirt the Russians said they had on Trump’s opponent, Hillary Clinton.
• Ivanka was one of three people — including Jared Kushner and senior adviser Stephen Miller — that the president consulted before he fired FBI Director James Comey.
• She personally pushed for Paul Manafort to replace Corey Lewandowski as chairman of the Trump campaign.
• Ivanka was an early and eager supporter of disgraced National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, going so far as to ask him, “General, what job do you want?”

Asked why Mueller hasn’t yet interviewed Ivanka Trump, CNN legal analyst Michael Zeldin commented:

“The answer is, beats me. Either he’s just biding his time or he has obtained this evidence elsewhere and he doesn’t need her, or he appreciates the possibility of a major eruption were he to do that.”

Perhaps, however, there’s a larger reason. Perhaps Ivanka is the key to the entire investigation and Mueller is saving her for last because she knows the most about all of the conspiring with Russia.

 

Here’s a fact that should concern the entire Trump family: As the Intercept reports:

“Then there are Ivanka’s ties to Felix Sater, who has loudly and plausibly boasted of connections with senior Russian officials. Sater is now being called one of the Trump Organization’s ‘biggest headaches in the Russia probe’ because of a letter he wrote to Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen in 2015, saying: ‘Our boy can become president of the USA and we can engineer it. I will get all of Putin’s team to buy in on this, I will manage this process’” Sater claimed that he had arranged financing for Trump Tower Moscow, a never-built project that was supposed to be the linchpin of the support from ‘Putin’s team.’ The skyscraper included plans for an Ivanka-branded spa.

“Ivanka was close enough with Sater that she traveled to Moscow with him in 2006. Sater claims he arranged for Ivanka to sit in Putin’s office chair at the Kremlin. (Ivanka told the New York Times that she may have sat in Putin’s chair, but ‘she did not recall it.’) And Bayrock, the company where Sater was managing director, helped finance Trump SoHo, a lower Manhattan condo and hotel project that Ivanka oversaw. (She was close to being charged with felony fraud for inflating the building’s sales figures.)”

What does this tell us? It suggests that Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Jared Kushner are amateurs compared to Ivanka. She’s been the real mastermind all along, and it was her idea to get the Russians involved.

Her daddy must be so proud of her.
