Apparently the low IQ dunderheads over at the Fox News afternoon show The Five have had enough of all the attention being given to the #BlackLivesMatter movement and want everyone to know just how difficult it is to be a white person in America.
I’ll pause and give that a second to sink in.
Yes, how horrible it is to be white in the United States. I mean, we control virtually everything from Congress to business to the entertainment industry. No wonder the dolts at Fox News feel so darn oppressed.
On Thursday, the gathering of right wingers on The Five declared that as whites they’re in an “impossible situation,” and guest host Melissa Francis even said:
“It is uncomfortable. Sometimes you feel like it’s hard to say anything right.”
Wonder if she ever considered the alternative: Keeping your big mouth shut!
Then Kimberly Guilfoyle, one of the regulars, and also one of the most perpetually annoying, chimed in with this:
“You’ve got to be inclusive”I think it’s very insulting to say, ‘White people don’t understand.’ What are you talking about? You’re part of the problem then if you’re…speaking and labeling all white people, saying they don’t understand the issue or saying they can’t relate. That’s really not giving people much credit, is it?”
Not to be outdone, Brian Kilmeade, who has about as much intelligence as a stick of butter, said he was so tired of being blamed for everything:
“We’re in an impossible situation. If you come up to us and say there was slavery in this country 220 years ago and white people did it and I hold you responsible, what do you want me…to say?” Number one, my relatives weren’t even here. My ancestors weren’t even here at the time.”
I would appear the gang at The Five have never heard of white privilege. No doubt even if they had they’d deny it really existed.
