Mike Huckabee’s Hypocrisy Gets Exposed By Man At Iowa Town Hall Meeting (Video)

Mike Huckabee just loves to talk about religion, the Bible, God, and how all this relates to the issues of the day in America and the world. But after a town hall meeting in Animosa, Iowa, earlier this week, Huckabee may feel like he’s already paid a visit to the hell he’s fond of referring to.

At the town hall, a man began peppering the former Arkansas Governor with questions using only the Scriptures which Huckabee claims he lives his life in obedience to.

The man, Rod Webber, asked Huckabee:

“I’m not really a political person, but I have a bet with a friend. You’re a religious person, a Christian?”

To which Huckabee replied:

“Absolutely, I’m a believer.”

And then Webber started quoting the Bible to the uber-religious Huckabee, beginning with one that directly commands people to care for the poor among them. It comes directly from the Book of Proverbs. Webber said:

“Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.”

Huck spat out some lines about people volunteering to take care of the poor on their community and added the old line about those who refuse to work not being allowed to eat.

Then Webber moved in for the blow that literally shut Huckabee down and left him looking like the absurd hypocrite he is. Webber remarked:

“You shall not round off the hair on your temples or mar the edges of your beard.”

So, based on what it says in Leviticus, Huckabee is breaking Biblical law each and every time he puts a razor to his face and shaves. While he was at it, Webber also noted:

“There’s more passages about shaving being a sin than there is about homosexuality.”

How did Mike Huckabee react? Well, as you can see in the video below, he acted like he wasn’t aware of the passages on not shaving even existing. Then he attempted to change the subject to other questions Webber had asked. All that did was magnify the level of massive hypocrisy he was engaging in by picking and choosing which Bible verses he chooses to obey.

I’m sure Huckabee doesn’t believe in karma, but there’s no doubt it just caught up with him.
