Some Cheese With Your Whine, Sarah? Palin Says She Knows Why Fox News REALLY Fired Her

Speaking only for myself here, I have to say that I find Sarah Palin to be one of the most odious public figures in modern politics. The thought that she was almost a heartbeat away from being President of the United States still makes me break out in a cold sweat.

So in June, when Fox News told Palin her services as a commentator/analyst/resident jerkweed would not longer be needed, I have to admit I was delighted. I don’t watch Fox News, but why give free airtime to someone as noxious and uninformed as Palin?

Now Palin is adding yet another chapter in her dismissal saga. In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), Palin remarked:

“Some things happened that I haven’t talked about publicly, things like getting canned from a job I really liked, sort of out of the blue, because I called somebody out. Next morning I got word, ‘Oh, we no longer need you anymore. Yeah, it was a shock, but more power to Fox News.”

That’s kinda cryptic, Sarah. What in the hell is she talking about? For that matter, what in the hell is she ever talking about?

So what did happen to fracture the Fox News/Palin nexus? Well, it turns out that her criticism of Megyn Kelly’s softball interview with Jessica and Jill Duggar was what upset that particular apple cart. Granted, Palin was actually correct to call Kelly out for that interview (you have no idea how painful it was for me to write that line–Sarah Palin right about something?!), but the Fox News executives didn’t appreciate having one of their stars criticized.

The Duggars are responsible for getting Sarah Palin off the Fox airwaves. Hmm…as much as I dislike the Duggars and what they claim to represent, I gotta admit I tip my cap to them for helping us partially put the muzzle on Palin.

Yet another thing Sarah can whine about endlessly. 2105 has not exactly been a good year for her. Yep, that old karma can sure be a son of gun, can’t it?
