The Collected Quotes Of Donald Trump Regarding ‘The Blacks’

To hear Donald Trump tell it, everyone loves him: Women, Hispanics, African-Americans, Republicans, Democrats, dogs, cats, former contestants on his shows, God, and anyone else you care to mention.

So perhaps the more pertinent question would be: How does the Donald feel about these groups? Let’s examine, through words said by Trump over the years, how he thinks and feels about African-Americans, whom he always refers to as “the blacks.” Here are the collected quotes of Trump on African-Americans:

“A well-educated black has a tremendous advantage over a well-educated white in terms of the job market. I think sometimes a black may think they don’t have an advantage or this and that… I’ve said on one occasion, even about myself, if I were starting off today, I would love to be a well-educated black, because I believe they do have an actual advantage.’’ (1989)

(Does that mean you’d also love to be harassed, beaten, stopped just for being black, and also have to face a higher incidence of unemployment and discrimination? Didn’t think so.)

“Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.” (1991)

(Congrats! This is the Offensive Twofer: You insulted blacks and Jews.)

“Laziness is a trait in blacks.” (1991)

(But not in you, a trust fund baby who had it all handed to him on a silver platter? Don’t make me laugh!)

“I have a great relationship with the blacks. I’ve always had a great relationship with the blacks.” (2011)

(So if you have such a great relationship with them, why do you always refer to them as “the blacks?”

“Sadly, because President Obama has done such a poor job as president, you won’t see another black president for generations!” (2014)

(I’ll bet we see another black president before we see another one named Trump. Shake on it?)

“Our great African-American President hasn’t exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore.”  (2015)

(Thugs? Isn’t that word also easily applied to rapacious capitalist predators like you, Donald?)

“And if you look at black and African-American youth, to a point where they’ve never done more poorly. There’s no spirit.” (2015)

(Could this possibly be because they have signficantly fewer opportunities to advance?)

“And, you know, I have a great relationship with African-Americans, as you possibly have heard. I just have great respect for them and you know they like me.” (2015)

(Uh, no. No they don’t. But in your limited mind, I can see where you would think they do.)

    • As long as he doesn’t see them. It’s reported that when he had his casino’s in Atlantic City they had to remove all blacks from the floor when he visited because he didn’t want to see them.
