When washed up POS rocker Ted Nugent starts defending you, there’s no doubt you have indeed sunk to the lowest form of life to be found in the Republican party.
Nugent, who loves to cuddle up with GOP lugnuts such as Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee, is very upset with former Bush spokesman Ari Fleischer, who recently remarked about Donald Trump:
“Donald Trump is like watching a roadside accident. Everybody pulls over to see the mess. And Trump thinks that’s entertainment. But running for president is serious. And the risk for the party is he tarnishes everybody.”
A very valid point, as the powers-that-be in the GOP are discovering. But you might just as well have told Nugent you were coming to take away his semiautomatic rifles. He lashed back at Fleischer with this:
“Donald Trump is a mess? Maybe Mr. Fleischer should open up the political garbage can he and the majority of Fedzillacrats live in and take a look at the real, certifiable, rotting, stinking mess that has been caused by the professional scammers of both political stripes for the past 50 years.”
Yep, it looks like Nugent is getting worked up for one of his patented half-baked rants. In this long-winded article he penned for WorldNetDaily, Nugent also wrote:
“Donald Trump’s message sings to Americans because he doesn’t play politically correct brain-dead games. He calls them like he sees them. That’s refreshing to millions of Americans who believe political correctness is a public cancer that has eroded free speech and everything else good about America.”
I will not engage in the least bit of political correctness with what I’m about to say: Ted, you’re a fading, no-talent former rock star who should fade into history and get a prescription to help with your insanity.
Nugent also stated:
“Those who condemn Donald Trump for refusing to use cowardly, politically correct words would be wise to remember the words of Harry Truman who said, ‘Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.’”
And then Ted ended with this flourish of stupidity:
“Instead of being condemned and lampooned by the likes of Ari Fleischer and his ilk, Donald Trump should be given the Medal of Freedom for speaking his mind in such a bold, honest and straight-forward manner.”
Here’s a suggestion I hope Nugent and Trump will consider: Nugent should run with the Donald as a candidate for Vice President. Then the Democratic nominee will win in a 50-state sweep.
