Fox & Friends host Pete Hegseth watched the student-led “March For Our Lives” on Saturday, and apparently it didn’t sit well with him, because he was on the air Sunday morning whining like a two-year-old who’s just been told all the candy is gone.

Co-host Abby Huntsman began the conversation by saying:

“We can’t talk about guns in a rational way in this country. Either you support the NRA and ‘killing children’ or everyone is ‘taking all of our guns away.’”

Extremist, non-negotiable positions are a hallmark of the GOP, Donald Trump, and the NRA, and yet Huntsman is gonna rattle off a line like that? Give me a damn break, Abby!

Then Hegseth started his soliloquy on the matter, declaring:

“I feel for these kids. They have a right to speak out and they should. But forgive me if I don’t want a lesson on the Second Amendment from a 16-year-old. Forgive me if I don’t want to watch a 9-year-old tell me that her dream is a world without guns.”

So children should be seen and not heard? That’s a quaint and archaic notion straight out of the 1950s that was total bullshit then and even more so now with the young people of today who are often better informed than their parents.

Hegseth continued his mournful drivel by saying:

“I want a world without Islamists! I wish that was true too. It’s just not the case. The reality is the Second Amendment is not about hunting. It’s not about self-defense only. It’s about free people and checks on a tyrannical government in addition to all those other things.”

But it was what the overwrought Hegseth admitted next that proves what a heartless sack of human excrement he is:

“They shouldn’t be giving me lessons on the Second Amendment. They should be in civics class… I watched that and you know what my reaction was? Honestly? I donated to the NRA this morning.”

Insecure much, Pete? Did you make sure and make give your donation to the NRA as you were tenderly rubbing the barrel of your AR-15, or did you just look at a picture of NRA shill Dana Loesch and swoon?
