It’s hard to tell who’s getting more outrageous and dangerous when it comes to the escalating rhetoric emanating from the Trump family, but Donald Trump Jr. has certainly made his bid for the dubious honor by going on Twitter and calling for “total war” over the election returns still being tabulated in six states.
Here’s what Junior posted on Twitter:
“The best thing for America’s future is for @realDonaldTrump to go to total war over this election to expose all of the fraud, cheating, dead/no longer in state voters, that has been going on for far too long.”
Minutes later, Twitter posted a warning on the tweet, which only served to anger Don Jr. even more:
Twitter is censoring and flagging this of course why would we not want to find out if these things exist? If they don’t then we will find nothing and people could maybe regain some faith in the process which doesn’t exist now.
Why would they be against finding potential fraud? https://t.co/uJUKMtZ8iZ

Like far too many right-wingers, Don Jr. forgets that he agreed to abide by Twitter’s terms of service when he set up his account. He doesn’t have the right to say whatever he wants on their platform. No one does. And if anyone doesn’t like that policy or doesn’t want to abide by any social media platform’s rules, they should delete their account and find another way to communicate online.
However, the call for “total war” led some3. on Twitter to suggest that Junior needed to be banned from the platform. Others just took time to slap down Don Jr. for his bullshit:
this should send a shiver up the spine of every American — “The best thing for America’s future is for @realDonaldTrump to go to total war over this election,” days Don Jr. pic.twitter.com/KYAdpUAJCK

It’s sad (and extremely satisfying) to watch Don Jr. realize his chances in 2024 are quickly going down the drain.

Have You ever heard the term “total war” before?
Greetings from Germany— Joa Bothe (@JoaBothe) November 5, 2020
You called for ‘total war’ and can’t understand why this would be deemed incendiary?

Americans have fought, and many have died, to defend the democracy we cherish, if you thought the people would give that up for you, your dad, and your family then you’ve greatly overestimated your worth, again.

How Hitler seized power in Nazi Germany:
1. Create a crisis.
2. Demonize opponents.
3. Declare a state of emergency.
4. Undermine elections.
5. Make the rule of law irrelevant.
6. Rule by executive order.

Calling for total war is not being against finding potential fraud Jr. It’s inciting violence. Words have power. It’s not innocent, nor is it ok.

Since his father already has the blood of 235,000 Americans who died from COVID-19 on his hands, it appears that Don Jr. is now calling for even more bloodshed just to assuage his malignant vanity and fear of prosecution.
