New Questions About Mike Pence’s Health After He Insists On Sitting During Wednesday’s VP Debate

On Wednesday evening, we’ll get to witness the first and only debate between Vice President Mike Pence and his Democratic rival, Sen. Kamala Harris.

But something that was revealed about what rules have been worked out between the two camps has many people wondering what exactly might be wrong with Pence.

According to Jennifer Rubin of The Washington Post, the VP’s staff insisted that he be allowed to sit for the entire debate:

Rather than respond to why Pence wants to remain seated for an hour and half, the Veep’s spokesperson decided to make fun of the fact that Harris had requested a plexiglass divider to help contain any spread of COVID-19. which is a legitimate fear when you consider that Pence has been exposed to Trump and may be carrying the virus even though he’s asymptomatic.

It should be noted that Pence was also present at the Rose Garden ceremony where Trump formally announced he was nominating Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. He mingled with the crowd there, which has already led to several attendees testing positive for coronavirus.

So what exactly is going on here? Is Pence afraid he’ll fall over if he has to stand for 90 minutes? There was a robust discussion about it all on Twitter:

The good news is that Kamala can sit, stand, or twirl plates while she debates Pence. The end result is going be the same: Pence will get his sanctimonious ass handed to him.
